Goals

HSI Institute’s Specific Goals:

1 Provide clinical experiences and training opportunities in the area of research for students working towards educational advancement in social service related disciplines.

2 Build a comprehensive inventory of community based research initiatives.

3 Build capacity to secure funding for longitudinal studies that will further expand the Social Service arena.

4 Identify research gaps and opportunities.

5 Develop strategies to modify Social Service policies and programs.

6 Host community forums on prevention research to disseminate study findings.

7 Determine the correlation between treatment intervention and service effectiveness.
