Purpose

To advance research and education activities that will:

1 Improve students, interns, staff, community, and policymakers understanding and effectiveness of intervention strategies with the various populations served throughout the organization’s service spectrum.

2 Influence organizational structure and change and facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration with persons assigned to conduct related research activities.

3 Validate innovative approaches to service delivery through research studies and publication.

4 To influence policymakers in their decisions to support funding for service provision and replication across other community, local, national and international human service providers.
